About Our Residence
The Monarch Center of Saco provides residential care in a home-like setting that features warm and comfortable surroundings and a calm environment. Every room in the 42-unit complex has a window overlooking our gardens, and the center embraces the Alzheimer’s Association "Best Friends" approach to care.
The architecture and interior design elements of the Monarch Center, which was built in 1999, help comfort residents, promote independence and increase positive emotions and a sense of well-being. The center’s décor includes soft lighting and colors, low ceilings, signage with pictures and words, and displays personal mementos to help residents get around with ease and confidence.
